Why doing business responsibly makes good sense for everyone

Cleankill as a company only has two assets – its staff and its customers, without these there is no business. Our responsibility is to train, encourage and support our staff in their work and in their welfare, so that they will in turn carry out their work to the best of their abilities and promote the image of Cleankill as the best provider of pest control services to their clients.

A worthwhile New Year's resolution

A New Year means, of course, the inevitable New Year’s resolution. We all start the New Year with the best of intentions and then watch as they slowly slip away. By the end of the year, most of us have completely forgotten our resolutions, just in time for them to become next year’s resolution. This year, however, I have a New Year’s resolution suggestion for your business that you will thank me for this time next year.

Out and about in Kent and Sussex

Come and see us this week at Kent2020 in Detling (Wednesday May 13th) and at Let’s Do Business in Brighton (Thursday May 14th).

At both events there will be the chance to meet our team, learn about what we do, see some of our equipment and try some edible bugs.

There is even a bottle of champagne up for grabs for the best bug eating selfie that is posted on our Facebook page.

See you there!

Cleankill's Chris is one of six most qualified pest controllers in country

We knew that our very own Chris Davis (Cleankill Service and Technical Manager) is one of the most experienced and able pest controllers not only in the South East but in the country.

This was confirmed when we heard that he had passed his Level 3 Diploma in Pest Control and added this to his graduate and post-graduate qualifications.

Chris is one of only six people in the country to have passed this tough exam which has an emphasis on pest control management, and includes completion of 12 assignments covering different pest control scenarios that he’s dealt with.

Super rats on Ashdown Forest in Sussex - is it a myth?

With our decades of experience in pest control there’s not much we don’t know about or have a view about.

This week we’ve been asked about super rats in the Ashdown Forest. To date we haven’t seen any of these giant rats but it’s true that were there is a lot of food around you will naturally find some larger than usual rats.

The topic of resistance to poisons keeps cropping up. This is not a new issue – there have been pockets of resistant rats in different parts of the country for years.
